Serene Reflection

Serene Reflection, originally uploaded by senecacreekphotography.

This was taken at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. While waiting around for the fountain show I decided that I would wander through the water gardens again just to kill some time after already taking pictures there…. I happed to be at the right place at the right time just as the sun was setting, the conservatory reflected perfectly in the water.

Sometimes a good photograph is really a matter of a photographers patience and persistence. Revisit places at different times of day even if you think you got a great shot already, each hour of the day yields a completely different light and mood!

  1. It’s weird i was looking up “carpeted with bluebells” on Wikianswers and clicked on ur website and discovered some gorgeous work, initially i wasn’t going to leave a message, but this photo really captured me, i can’t explain it, it just makes me stare in wonder, it remind’s me of a ride i went on in Eftaling, Holland when i was younger, the mystery it portrays and the Magic captured in that lake or pond it’s just breathtaking!
It has that Entrancing fairyworld perspective, with the lilly pads and the reflected “Fairy Bower”, like a picture in a book it’s gorgeous, reallly! I love it!
